Undergraduate Student Researchers

North Carolina State University engineering and science undergraduate students interested in ferroelectrics or advanced characterization of materials for electrochemical energy storage and with availability to perform research for 1-2 years (not including summer) are welcome to contact Prof. Nina Balke.

Graduate Student Researchers

Prospective and admitted graduate students to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University are welcome to contact Prof. Nina Balke with their research interests and the availability of graduate research positions.

Postdoctoral Research Fellows

We are interested in a postdoctoral fellow in the area of in situ AFM techniques to study local ion insertion processes based on electro-chemo-mechanical coupling.
