🔥 Hot stuff: do not touch! 🥵 Professor Bharat Gwalani took students in his MSE 440 course on a field trip to Hallman Foundry, LLC located in Sanford, North Carolina last week!

MSE 440 student Sophia Isacco shared her thoughts on the trip:

"I had a great time visiting Hallman Foundry! Seeing what we discussed in class in person really brought the material to life. It was so interesting to see how the casting process works at all stages, especially with real-world industry applications! Learning about the manufacturing side of casting really informed the theoretical and design side of engineering."
