2410 Campus Shore Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27606, United States
Completed in 1996, the 138,000-square-foot MRC houses some of the most sophisticated research facilities on Centennial Campus. A complex of two buildings, MRC features a wide range of state-of-the-art technology, from special “clean-rooms” for creating and analyzing nanoscale microelectronic devices to the adjoining Constructed Facilities Laboratory, which contains some of the largest testing equipment in the nation.
Originally named the Engineering Graduate Research Center (EGRC), the building, designed by architects at O’Dell Associates, was renamed in 2005 to honor former Chancellor Larry K. Monteith.
