As part of a major expansion of the NC State University College of Engineering, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) seeks new faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor (tenure/tenure-track) in all areas of materials science and engineering with preference for candidates in computational and theoretical research. Successful candidates will have completed a Ph.D. in MSE or an allied field and have achieved or be on a trajectory for international prominence. Senior candidates will have a demonstrated record, vision, and skills to lead collaborative, multidisciplinary research efforts. We value individuals committed to fostering creative teaching and instructional methods to enhance undergraduate and graduate curricula.
