Deadline to apply to NSF International Research Experiences

PhD students interested in an international summer research experience in soft matter (broadly defined as polymers and other materials that are mechanically soft, including particles, organic-inorganic hybrid materials, and biomaterials) are encouraged to apply for the NSF-supported International Research Experiences for Students (IRES) Track 1 Program, Soft Matter Research Experience for North Carolina Graduate Students in Dresden! A cohort of approximately 8 PhD students from NC State, Duke, and UNC will be selected to travel together and will have a common academic program.
