NSF International Research Experiences
May 22, 2024 – July 31, 2024
PhD students interested in an international summer research experience in soft matter (broadly defined as polymers and other materials that are mechanically soft, including particles, organic-inorganic hybrid materials, and biomaterials) are encouraged to apply for the NSF-supported International Research Experiences for Students (IRES) Track 1 Program, Soft Matter Research Experience for North Carolina Graduate Students in Dresden! A cohort of approximately 8 Ph.D. students from NC State, Duke, and UNC will be selected to travel together and will have a common academic program.
