Graduate Programs

Master’s Degrees

Our Master of Science degree (MSMSE) with thesis is intended for graduate students interested in advanced research. Our non-thesis master’s degrees (MMMSE, MNAE) are designed to prepare students for professional engineering careers and can be completed online or in the classroom.

Doctor of Philosophy

The Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering is pursued by outstanding students with an intense interest in independent study and research. It requires advanced coursework and research beyond the master’s degree, a written and oral comprehensive preliminary examination, a written dissertation, and a final oral defense of the research.
